The Information Commissioner's Office. It holds extensive information on the holding of information by organisations and also on the rights of the individual. It includes a sector guide on data protection for charities.

The Scottish Information Commissioner - The Scottish Information Commissioner is a public official appointed by Her Majesty The Queen on the nomination of the Scottish Parliament. The Commissioner is responsible for enforcing and promoting Scotland's freedom of information laws.
