Social Media is becoming increasingly important to the Third Sector as a way of promoting and supporting projects and services. In addition to using Social Media ourselves (we have a presence on Facebook, Twitter and operate a Blog ), MVA has received funding from the Scottish Government and the European Community Tyne Esk LEADER programme, to develop the use of Social Media in the Midlothian Third Sector.
Our project officer is available for FREE 1-2-1 support on a variety of topics including Facebook, Twitter, other social networking sites, web design/development and developing strong social media strategies, policies and guidance documents.
To be eligible for support and training your organisation must be based in, work in or have clients from rural Midlothian. If you are unsure if your organisation is eligible please get in touch.
If you are interested in taking advantage of some of the support that the project can offer, please get in touch by contacting the Social Media Officer, Carol-Ann Cunningham, tel: 0131 663 9471.
THIS PROJECT IS BEING PART-FINANCED BY THE SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT AND THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY TYNE ESK LEADER 2007-2013 PROGRAMME
